Bartram Canoe Trail-Summer 2014 Update

..Nice to find the wooden trash can housing smashed in by someone,

our wooded hand launch sign was smashed, broken and tossed in the

 woods and the picnic table boards are smashed and broken...

..Summer water levels still on the low side, dependent on more
 summer rains, Durbin Creek is in water hyacinth overgrowth

 crisis this summer. You can't paddle more than about a

 mile from the launch now...

..2 citizen volunteers have been cleaning the park and

 maintaining the trash can going on our 4th year..

Here comes Bartram Creek subdivision, 1 block from Durbin Creek,

there goes the neighborhood!...
